Marie S Williamson

Marie S Williamson, 81, of Siesta Key in Sarasota, FL, passed away on Thursday, July 7th of natural causes. Originally from Sandy Springs, OH, Mrs. Williamson lived in Florida since 1966. She was an elementary school teacher before becoming a dedicated homemaker and mother when her children were born. Mrs. Williamson greatly enjoyed living in her condo on the beach and had a wonderful time traveling to many countries and each continent. She dedicated much volunteer work at the local dinner theaters and had great interest in art, theological studies, and the beauty of nature. Her husband Robert L Williamson passed away in 1987. Survivors include two sons, Russ and Bobby Williamson, both of Sarasota, FL, four grandchildren, Corey Williamson, Lacey Bischoff, Alden Williamson, and Kelsey Williamson, as well as four great-grandchildren, Harper, Adah, Judah, and Beau. She is also survived by her sister Nancy Jones of Sandy Springs. A memorial service will be held at the Whispering Sands Tiki Hut on Wednesday, July 13th from 7:00-9:00pm.
